Another popular session where we make time to sit together, journal (prompts provide) or write love notes (thank you cards) and sometimes share our stories with each other.
We meet virtually at our popular ‘Chai and Chat’ sessions (with a hot cup of your favorite drink), talk informally, discuss interesting topics and connect with each other. Past topics include body love, home organization, cooking, travel and social media.
Sometimes you just need to relax and have fun. We have many social events usually trying something new or being creative. Past socials include paint night, sketching, coaster-making, muay thai, stand-up paddle boarding and SUP yoga.
Our community is made up of so many generous, talented women – which is why we love to have them take the floor and teach us all something new! No selling, just sharing. Past events include: Grow Your Own Sprouts, Laughing Yoga, Feng Shui and Sewing.
Book club for the literature lovers in the community. Sometimes it's fiction, sometimes it's personal development. It's always stimulating. Past books include The Vanishing Half, Confidence Code, Pussy, American Dirt.
Proactive learning, workshops, guest speakers - all focussed at helping us feel better, understand ourselves and take effective steps towards a better life. Past topics include Emotional Regulation, Grief Recovery, Brain + Worry, Radical Self Care.
With knowledge, we can do extraordinary things.
Empowered women, empower/
support/cheer for other women.
We can grow when we do what works best for us.

"Staying connected is amazing :) I also love the option to be on an online platform without it being facebook and instagram (thank you for creating this space for us!)!"

"I got motivated to act on something I've been wanting to do for a long time and that alone made this session worthwhile... There were moments when people shared their stories that helped me to reflect on my own perspectives."
- Ashley
"I really enjoyed the connection with other women, being able to discuss and be vulnerable allowed me to feel less alone. I appreciated the small group and that everyone was encouraged to share and be so respectful of each other."
- Nardine
"I loved the diverse perspectives of individuals in attendance; Rishma’s sharing of evidence-based information to supplement and inform our conversations"

"I think what is provided by XO is filling a gap by curating engaging, wellness-focused, growth and empowerment opportunities"
Reviews:
I ran a thriving healthcare practice as a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist for over 20 years focusing on hormone health and fertility. I also earned my PhD and spent time in academic research and teaching positions. Now, I enjoy reading scientific studies for the purpose of using the insights to help me, and our community, get the most out of life.
I created XO Living as a way of cultivating a supportive community of growth-minded women who want to develop meaningful connections, with themselves and others, while having memorable experiences.
I was inspired to create XO Living after I embarked upon my own journey of self-(re)discovery and realized that there must be other women out there like her who want more from life, too.
"It took me a long time to realize that when I prioritize myself, everything else thrives."

Soul mate, 2 not-so-little amazing humans, and a village of love.
Spontaneous dance parties, in the kitchen, just for fun!
Around the world, adventures, new places, different people.
And some time to appreciate it. Preferably with a delicious snack ;p
I'm a sponge LOL. Books, research papers, podcasts, articles. I love them all.
